Ingredients
Serves 4 people
- 4 salmon steaks
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 spring onions, cut in half lenghtways
- 2 tablespoon black bean sauce
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chinese rice wine
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded root ginger
- 4 tablespoons seasoned oil
- fresh coriander leaves to garnish
| Method
| rub both sides of the fish with salt and sesame oil then place the fish on top of the spring onions in a baking dish. Blend the black bean sauce with the soy sauce, wine and ginger and pour evenly over the fish. Place the dish in the hot steamer and steam over a high heat for 15 minutes. Heat the seasoned oil until hot. Remove the fish from the steamer and pour the hot oil all over the fish steaks. Garnish with coriander leaves or spring onions. Serve Hot. |
