Satay Salmon

  Ingredients

  Serves 4-6 main course or 8-12 as a starter

  • 1Kg (2Lbs) Salmon Fillets
  • 500ml Satay sauce
  • 4 tablespoons seasoned oil
  • to garnish:
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  Method

Cut the Salmon into 2-3" long strips and thread onto wooden skewers. (Tip: soak the wooden skewers in water for 2 hours to prevent burning). Cook the Salmon in a frying pan with enough oil to prevent sticking. Meanwhile cook the satay sauce as per Satay sauce recipe until hot. Serve the Salmon skewers and pour over satay sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve. Optionally serve on a bed of crisap lettuce.
