Lemon sauce

  Ingredients

  Serves Sauce for Lemon dishes

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/3 pint (200ml) stock
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon MSG
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest

  Method

Heat the oil until hot. Add all the ingredients and blend well until smooth. Serve poured over your main ingredient.
