Ingredients
Serves 4-6 people
- 12 Straw mushrooms sliced
- 4oz (100g) pork - shredded
- 2oz (50g) sliced bamboo shoots
- 2 pints stock
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon thick cornflour paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon MSG
- 2 tablespoons seasoned oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
| Method
| Heat the oil in a hot wok and. Add all the ingredients except stock and salt and pepper and stir fry until piping hot. Add the stock and bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer and simmer for 5 minutes then season to taste and serve. Optionally add a few small birds eye chillies when stir frying for extra heat. |
